Paris Is Expensive

After my recent trip to Paris my gallerist asked me for a work that would depict my experience, this is what I felt.

It was the queues, the ticket prices, the taxis, the expensive hotels that made me paint this picture. I had an antique frame and made a canvas that fitted.

A Client came by my gallery and said he liked the boat and was interested in buying this. He later explained the meaning to him, the viewer. " An idiot husband, ferrying his impractical wife in a too large sun hat across the water to buy more food that she doesn't need at the market". Here goes...The Boat.
